Chasing shadows

Today I should have been taking pictures for my new Etsy shop but instead I've been chasing shadows. The sun was bright, the shadows so crisp that I got sidetracked but hey! It was a break from our long, cold winter.

Last night there was a heavy frost and I had to scrape the car windscreen - again. When the sun came it I set out onto the patio with my camera. The blue garland with the pink orchid looks very summery.

But then the pink garland really zings.

So then I experimented with my blankets.

and with the edgings

All of them had something special.

It shows that it doesn't always rain in Wales!
